Had the edge of your mounted poster delaminate? We can install plastic edging, then acetone weld it to the substrate, and completely eliminate any further delamination.
When was the last time you attempted to securely suspend a mounted image from the ceiling, and was frustrated because you either couldn’t find a system that would hang the image perfectly plumb, or it fell to the ground? Our special metal mounting brackets snap into the frame creating secure points to hang your image.
When was the last time that you produced a sign on 1/2" plywood or MDO board for outside use, and spent more time continuously priming, painting, and repainting the outside edge in an effort to "seal the edge"? For outside signs, see how fast we can turn plastic edging into a weatherproof "raincap" by applying a generous bead of silicone caulking to the edge of your plywood, then embed a 1/2” plastic edge into the wet silicone.
Gatorboard - Gatorboard is a dense foam substrate that resists warping. Ideal for long term indoor signs. Available in 3/16" thickness. May be framed and laminated.
Plasticore - Plasticore is an inexpensive waterproof corrugated plastic that may be used for indoor and outdoor signs. Graphics are adhered to it using a vinyl material. It may not be laminated or framed.
Plywood - Outdoor signs may be mounted to plywood using a vinyl material. The plywood should be framed in PVC edging to prevent de-lamination.
Other mounting options may be available. Please call us if you have a special need.
We may coat
a poster that is mounted on Foamcore or
Gatorboard with a protective layer of
lamination. We carry the following styles:
Gloss
enhances
an image, but picks up glare from nearby
lights
Lustre
gives
the image a slight shine without the
blinding glare
Matte
a dull
laminate, used primarily for protection,
that picks up no glare

We may
also coat vinyl or other flexible
substrates with a liquid laminate. The
liquid laminate is more flexible then
film laminate and therefore may be used
on non-rigid
materials.

Encapsulation is another
option to embed an image inside 10 mil
thick glossy plastic. Note that their are
often less expensive alternatives to
encapsulation that provide waterfastness.
